Your Classmates' Essays
I'm going to post some of the essays which I think you would enjoy reading.
I was very impressed with Valerie's comparison of the US and Ecuador. Her essay is smart and very well-written.

Diem (from 5E) wrote a FANTASTIC essay on some very interesting and thoughtful differences between Vietnam and the U.S. I LOVE the introduction!

Class Party
If you didn't receive the evite (email invitation), please let me know. The party is at my house beginning at 7, but you can come later. I'd like to know how many to expect, more or less, so please let me know if you're coming. I'm asking everybody to contribute $8 to help with the cost.
The menu sounds delicious:
1. Vietnamese spring rolls
2. Turkish kebobs
3. Mexican fajitas
4. Venezuelan arepas
5. Taiwanese pan-fried noodles
6. American brownies or apple pie :)
Maybe some Turkish or Arabic coffee?
